Ultra-conservative partial porcelain veneer

Article 1 Mizrahi 6.jpg

Leading educator Basil Mizrahi presents a case study of a ultra conservative single veneer.

Generally a small amount of tooth preparation is required for porcelain veneers. However, in certain situations it is possible to place a porcelain veneer without tooth preparation. This depends on tooth position and skill of the technician as the restoration needs to be made extremely thin and becomes very fragile. The following case describes the use of a partial porcelain veneer to improve the harmony between a natural tooth and an adjacent implant crown.
